Sample bites from local restaurants paired with premium agave spirits, craft cocktails, and fine Mexican spirits. Presented by the Museum's Auxiliary Board in partnership with S.A.C.R.E.D., all proceeds benefit the National Museum of Mexican Art.

A slow-paced, community-focused lakefront trail bike ride starting at the Chicago Yacht Club and ending at Whispers Oak Street Beach. Participants are invited to bring wheels, flags, and keffiyehs in solidarity with Palestinian liberation and environmental justice.

Starting Wednesday, 7/15, through Sunday, 8/9, we’re selling papelón con limón at Anticonquista Café. If you don’t know it yet, it’s a classic Venezuelan drink made with cane sugar and fresh lime, the kind of thing you’d get from a street vendor in Venezuela on a hot day, or from your tía who insists it’s better than anything store-bought.

Every papelón you drink at Anticonquista Café helps fund earthquake relief efforts in Venezuela right now through Alimenta la Solidaridad, a grassroots nonprofit that runs community kitchens and trains local leaders across Venezuela, working on food security, nutrition, child protection, education, and livelihoods programs for families impacted by structural inequities.

Free Street presents a public performance of bilingual, intergenerational stories by, for, and with Chicago Southsiders. The event culminates an eight-week storytelling project in collaboration with Peace and Education.
